If you place the cheese in the refrigerator immediately after receiving your order, it can be stored uncut for 6 to 8 weeks. More information on how best to store your Henri Willig cheese can be found here.
While it is technically possible to freeze your cheese, we do not recommend it. Freezing can change the texture and taste of the cheese.
All Henri Willig cheeses are artisanally produced in our own cheese dairies in Katwoude and Heerenveen, the Netherlands. Want to learn more about how we make our cheeses? Then take a look here.
Yes, you can. Our cheeses can stay outside the fridge for a while, as they are protected by a special wax coating. This allows them to travel around the world, even in warmer periods.
When received, the cheese may be soft and 'sweaty'. If you place the cheese in the fridge for at least an hour after receiving it, it will become 'hard' again. This does not affect the taste or quality of the cheese.
The weight listed with the cheese is the original manufacturing weight of the cheese. As the cheese matures, it loses weight and becomes lighter.

Please note that deliveries to a PO Box address are unfortunately not possible.
If the country you would like to send our cheese to is not in the list of destinations, please contact us at webshop@henriwillig.com. We will then contact our shipper to see what options we can offer you for your destination country.
It takes 1-3 days to process, pack and hand over your order to our carrier. Our carrier's delivery times can be found here.
There's a possibility that your order (outside the EU) will be subject to VAT and/or import duties. Any resulting costs are for the customer. Import regulations differ per country and are subject to constant change. Unfortunately, Henri Willig has no control over or any influence on this. We advise you to contact your local authorities for more information.
When we hand over your order to our carrier, you will automatically receive an e-mail with the track & trace information. This way you can always keep an eye on the status of your parcel.

We carry a selected range online. However, if you are looking for a specific item or spcific cheese, please let us know at webshop@henriwillig.com. We'll see what we can do for you.
For international deliveries, additional costs such as import duties and/or customs charges may apply to the shipment, depending on the legislation in force in the country. These costs are not included and are therefore borne by the recipient. Adjustments by the import authorities are beyond our control.
For shipments to Israel: From an order value of €75.00 or at 5 kilograms, additional costs may be charged by customs to the consignee.

Please mention in this e-mail what you would like to order and to which address this parcel should be sent so that our team can help you as best as possible. Have you won a voucher for a cheese product? Then you can redeem it at henriwillig.com/en/cart.
Have you won a voucher for a discount on the entire range? Then you can redeem it at henriwillig.com by first adding all your favorite products to your shopping cart and then entering the voucher code during checkout.
Place the products you want to order in your shopping basket. At checkout, enter your voucher code in the Promotion code field. The discount will then be processed.
Using the following steps, you can easily place your order:
- Go to henriwillig.com/en/cart.
- Enter the voucher code in the Promotion code field and press 'Apply'. The product you won during the Auction will then appear in your shopping basket.
- Then press 'Order' and complete the order.
