Shipment and delivery
All our cheeses and other Dutch delicacies are shipped to our customers directly from our cheese farm in Katwoude, the Netherlands. After receiving your order, it is processed, packed and shipped as soon as possible.
As soon as we have handed the parcel over to the carrier, you will receive the tracking information by e-mail. With this information, you can easily track your package.
Free shipping
Shipping to the Netherlands with GLS Parcel is free when you spend over €50.
Shipping to Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Monaco, and Poland with GLS Parcel is free when you spend over €75.
Collect your order for free in Katwoude
If you live in the Netherlands and provide a Dutch shipping address, you have the option to pick up your order at our cheese farm the Jacobs Hoeve in Katwoude. You can select this option during checkout. This option is free. Usually your order will be available the next business day. You will receive a notification when your order is ready.
Safe place delivery permission
In some cases, it is possible to give the carrier permission to leave your parcel in a designated place. By doing so, you allow your parcel to be left at a location specified by you, even when you are not at home. If you give the carrier permission for safe place delivery, the risk of damage to or loss of the parcel transfers to you from the moment it has been left at the specified location.
Shipping costs and delivery times
Below you will find an overview of our (inter)national destinations, shipping costs, and an indication of the delivery times for our shipments. For the shipment of these packages, we work with GLS, UPS, and PostNL.
* We kindly ask for your understanding that delays during shipping are beyond our control and that we cannot guarantee a specific delivery day.
Change of delivery address
Would you like to change the delivery address of your order? Unfortunately, you cannot do this yourself. Please contact our Customer Care Team immediately at webshop@henriwillig.com with your order number and the correct delivery address. We will try to solve this for you, but we cannot guarantee this. Once your parcel has been packed and dispatched, we unfortunately no longer have any influence on this.
Customs duties
There is always a possibility that your order (outside the EU) may be subject to VAT and/or import duties. Any resulting costs are the responsibility of the customer. Import regulations vary by country and are also subject to continuous changes. Unfortunately, Henri Willig has no control or influence over this. We therefore advise you to contact the local authorities for more information.
Import duties United States
The United States government has introduced new import tariffs on products shipped from the European Union to the United States and will abolish the so-called de minimis exemption as of August 29, 2025. Until now, orders below a certain value were exempt from import duties, but from this date onward, an import tariff will be applied to every order from the EU to the US, regardless of the order value. Currently, this rate is 10%.
To make things as easy as possible for you as a customer, these costs are automatically calculated during checkout on our website. Henri Willig pays the import duties directly to the US government via UPS. This ensures that your order is delivered with minimal delay and without any additional actions required upon delivery. This way, our fresh cheeses still reach you as quickly as possible.
To guarantee the fastest possible customs clearance and to ensure the freshness of our cheeses, we are temporarily shipping a selected range of our assortment to the United States. This allows us to optimize the customs process and keep delivery times as short as possible.
Incomplete shipment
We always do our best to deliver your order complete and on time. If something is missing or something else is wrong, please contact us immediately after delivery by e-mail at webshop@henriwillig.com. Please include your order number, a brief explanation and possibly a photo showing the problem.
