From the long-cherished desire to open a branch in the northeast of the Netherlands, Henri Willig Kaas will be located at Ds. T.O. Hylkemaweg 39 in Giethoorn from July 2023. This location was perfectly chosen; in the past, cheese was also traded on the Hylkemaweg.
In the past, many guests were received at this location in Centrum - Hotel Restaurant and you will also receive a warm welcome at our place. Hospitality has been instilled in us and we aim to give our visitors an unforgettable cheese experience. In our restaurant, you will therefore find our tasty cheeses in the lead role, in deliciously surprising dishes. We strive to offer many organic options. And if you have enjoyed it, you can visit our shop to enjoy our cheeses at home too.
We welcome you to our beautiful location, where we can completely pamper you. We have plenty of seating in our restaurant both inside and outside. Henri Willig also has a boat for groups of up to 42 people for hire, guaranteeing a complete Giethoorn experience.
In June 2023, we opened our cheese shop and from 1 July 2023, our restaurant and ice cream parlour will be open and you will be able to book round trips through Giethoorn.
