To strengthen cooperation and shape future plans with more support, the cabinet has decided to temporarily swap the traditional coffee moments for meetings in a warmer, more connecting environment. That place was found in the Henri Willig Tasting Room in The Hague, an atmospheric location owned by the North Holland cheese family Willig.
The cabinet believes that meaningful conversations truly begin when people are relaxed together, and that a generously filled tasting board often brings more than a cool meeting table. According to them, the Tasting Room offers exactly the atmosphere needed to share visions, let ideas develop and reach constructive agreements. This choice also aligns with the administrative direction of the new cabinet, where connection, open dialogue and building broad support take centre stage.
Starting this Wednesday, the cabinet will gather in the Tasting Room twice a week in varying compositions. The Henri Willig team has created a richly set table especially for these meetings (see photo), featuring new and flavourful creations. These symbolise collaboration: surprising combinations, mild and bold flavours, and products that enhance one another, just like a good conversation.
The Tasting Room at Plaats 1 in The Hague is developing into a special place for connection, reflection and inspiration, where the tasting board serves as a subtle yet flavourful mediator. Outside these meetings, the space is also available for companies, organisations and teams looking for an environment where creativity and collaboration naturally come together.
The cabinet has also shown interest in a broader introduction of the newly developed flavours later this year, allowing a wider audience to experience how taste and togetherness can enhance one another.
