Henri Willig's smoked goat cheese is crafted with care and expertise in a special way. First, the Gouda goat cheese is melted and moulded. Then, the cheese is smoked on beech wood in a smokehouse. This gives the smoked cheese its traditional flavour and traditional brown, edible rind.

Serving tips

I fell in love with this cheese when we lived in Europe. After returning to the United States I quickly realized that the cheese does not come even close to comparison here. I order the smoked goat cheese and am heart broken that it has been out of stock. Love love love it.

I’ve randomly bought it from its shop when I visited the Netherlands 6 years ago. Since then I’ve been trying to find a cheese similar to this one, but there aren’t any. I’ve tried so many smoked goat cheese yet nothing compares to this one. I was trying to find this cheese for so long because I’ve forgotten the name. Not everyone can understand it but finding this cheese and the website that I can purchase it from was truly one of the happiest moments in my life. What I’m trying to say is buy it, definitely.
