Flower honey is the most well-known type of honey there is. It is a "hodgepodge" of all kinds of diverse plants. Because of this, the taste, color and crystallization varies from harvest to harvest. This is because the bees fly on different flowers in the spring than in the summer. This is due to the various flowering periods of the plants and trees. So there are various pollen collected which end up in the honey. Our flower honey comes from Dutch beekeepers throughout the country.
Honey tastes delicious with almost any cheese. The sweetness is a nice contrast to the saltiness of cheese. Adding honey to your cheese board will make your cheese board just a little more exciting.
