Henri Willig is a fast-growing, independent livestock farmer, cheese producer, retailer and exporter that has been successful in the exclusive cheese segment since 1974. Henri Willig has a strong position in the national and international market for Dutch cheese and organic cheese specialities. The total organisation comprises a livestock farm, 2 cheese factories, 38 shops, a Grand Cafe and a webshop. For the ICT department, at our office in Heerenveen, we are looking for an Application Administrator.

Our organisation is developing rapidly, which means that more and more is asked of our ICT team in the field of information technology. The diversity of our organisation's activities (B2B wholesale, Retail, E-commerce, production and logistics) ensures a wide variety of activities and projects. Several great projects are also planned in the coming years that will help our organisation move forward. As Application Administrator, you will be part of the ICT Team consisting of six, dedicated  colleagues who make the processes within the company run a little better every day. In this position, you are responsible for managing the various software applications, including the ERP application AFAS Profit and EPO CheeseIT used in production. You will report to the ICT Manager. If you work on location, this is mainly in Heerenveen, but you can also regularly be found at our head office in Katwoude. 

What will you do:

  • As Application Administrator, you will contribute to identifying and translating user requirements and software improvements into solutions.
  • You manage and optimise the deployment and set-up of our software applications.
  • You work closely with suppliers, project managers, your fellow administrators and the business to ensure the quality, stability and continuity of the application management.
  • You are the point of contact for end users for questions related to our applications.
  • You involve your colleagues from various departments in optimising applications and processes.
  • Contributes to the development of the applications by identifying and translating user needs
  • You ensure unambiguous use of the applications and give instructions and advice to the user
  • You participate in various ICT-related projects

What are you taking with you?

  • You know how to identify the automation needs of different departments and then adapt the software accordingly.
  • You enjoy exploring (new) possibilities in the field of automation and implementing these within our organisation.
  • Preferably experience with setting up an ERP package and experience with workflow management
  • A relevant completed ICT education (e.g. Business Informatics); however, we are also open to a part-time student with relevant work experience who wants to put his/her acquired knowledge and experience into practice.
  • Experience and knowledge of ERP packages (Afas is an advantage), Excel and Power BI.
  • Solution-oriented, incisive, communication skills, able to manage different processes side by side.
