How it all started: baby Gouda
Henri Willig gained an international reputation for the production of baby Gouda. These baby cheeses in the striking brightly coloured packaging are made in his cheese dairy in Katwoude on a daily basis. Owing to the special process, the cheese is very durable and can even be stored outside of the fridge. This makes these baby cheeses extremely suitable to take with you – even if you do not live in the Netherlands – as a treat to yourself or as a present for someone else.
The cheeses are available in a wide variety of distinctive flavours, including herbs, cumin, garlic, chili pepper, black pepper, fenugreek, truffle and pesto.
In addition to baby cheese made of cow milk, Henri Willig also produces cheeses made of goat milk, both plain and with a variety of added flavours such as fenugreek and herbs and cheeses made of sheep milk.
